Renewal Fees & Fee changes
Palau Digital IDs are issued for a set period (e.g., 1, 5, or 10 years). When your ID expires, you’ll need to renew it if you wish to continue using the benefits.
It is advised to lock in a longer period of time (eg. 10 years) to lock in a price since service fees may go up over time. The latest fee increase was updated in January 2026.
Renewal typically requires:
A renewal fee (usually lower than the original application fee)
Submission of updated information (possibly a new photo or documentation)
Renewal through the official RNS.ID portal
Keep in mind renewal prices and procedures may be updated over time.
